ACCESSIBILITY
Car parking for those with disabilities and mobility problems at East end of Church in churchyard. This can be muddy in wet weather. Plans are afoot to improve this. There is alternative car parking for those with disabilities and mobility problems by the Church Hall over the road.
The Main (North) door has two steps into Porch, and a deep step into Church. During services, the South Door, which has level access for wheelchairs, is unlocked. Push door hard!
Most of the church interior is accessible on a single level.
There is an accessible toilet with a baby changing facility inside the Church, off the Choir Vestry on the South Side (open during services). During Covid restrictions please access this via the North aisle, walking across the chancel and into the choir vestry to avoid close contact with choir members or members of the ministry team.
Children are always welcome at all services. There is a child friendly area in the main church, but during these restrictions there are no children’s activities in the north chapel. Parents are advised to bring suitable activities for their children if needed. They may use the toys etc in the children’s area at their own risk.
The Sound System includes a loop system.
The weekly newsheet, ‘Partners’, is available in large print. Large print hymn books and Bibles are available.
We aim to be open and accessible to all. If you have any special needs with which we can help, given the limitations of a medieval building, do please let us know.
