Service at Hyde Memorial Hall in Aid of East African Crisis

  • Hyde War Memorial Village Hall Blissford Hill Fordingbridge SP6 2HS (map)

Christian Aid have launched an appeal for the East African crisis - they explain - millions of innocent children, women and men in East Africa are taking desperate measures to survive in the face of extreme hunger, caused by failed harvests, livestock deaths and water shortages. These disasters have been exacerbated by the war in Ukraine which has resulted in a world food shortage. There will be a service in the Village Hall on 18 September at which we will be showing some of the footage about the situation and be making a collection to go to Christian Aid for their work in East Africa.

Hyde Memorial Hall

The service is at 10.00am and will be preceded by breakfast - bacon rolls and coffee at about 9.00am. Do come and support us if you can - Alex is coming with the "Mustard Seeds" and she will be talking a bit about how she got to where she is today.
